A tank holds e-liquid and houses the coil. Its shape and airflow decide how a vape draws, how much liquid you carry and how cleanly the flavour arrives. Choosing one is mostly about matching it to the way you like to inhale.

Style of inhale

MTL tanks give a tight pull like a cigarette. Sub ohm tanks open the airflow wide for a lungful of vapour. Neither is better; they just serve different tastes. Dual style tanks let you switch between the two.

Capacity and filling

UK rules cap tank capacity at 2ml for products sold here. Top-fill designs are easiest, since you slide the cap aside and drip liquid in. Bottom-fill tanks need a bit more care.

Thread and fit

Most tanks use a 510 thread, which fits nearly all mods. Match the diameter as well, or the tank will overhang the battery.

Care

Rinse with warm water when you change flavours or coils, and let it dry fully. Replacement coils are on coils.
